{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-100.285","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 100.285","heading":"Revocation of subdivision plat.","body":"(1) Upon application of all persons owning land comprising a subdivision, the planning\ncommission may revoke the approval of a subdivision plat, including all dedications\nof public facilities, easements and rights-of-way.\n(2) Before any plat shall be revoked, all owners shall, as part of their application for\nrevocation, state under oath that no person has purchased a lot shown on the plat.\n(3) A revocation shall become effective only upon:\n(a) A notation on the margin of the recorded plat stating that such pla t has been\nrevoked and the date of such vote of revocation; such notation shall be signed\nby the chairman, secretary, or other duly authorized officer of the commission;\nand\n(b) A written approval of such revocation filed with the commission, duly signed\nby each entity to which an offer of dedication of any public or private facility,\neasement or right-of-way was made on the plat.\n(4) The remedy provided in this section is in addition to all other remedies provided by\nlaw and shall not impair the right of t he commission or any interested party from\nfiling an action in Circuit Court for such relief as may be appropriate.","path":["KRS Chapter 100"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=26761","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:04Z","sha256":"05b6a7669237bb39054a79b6c411f6ce34948c9d46830e84fe0d28db1b952555","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-100.283","next":"us-ky/krs-100.287"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
