{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-100.297","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 100.297","heading":"Official map, contents -- Hearing, posting.","body":"(1) The official map may show, without being limited to, the location and extent of\nexisting and proposed public streets, including rights -of-way, watercourses, parks\nand playgrounds, public schools and building sites, and other public facilities needs.\n(2) Prior to the adoption or amendment of the official map, the planning commission\nshall review the map or changes to it in light of the comprehensive plan, shall hold a\npublic hearing on the map or proposed changes pursuant to public notice as\nprescribed by KR S Chapter 424, and shall recommend its approval or disapproval\nto the legislative bodies.\n(3) After the passage of the official map regulation for all or part of the city or county,\nall streets, watercourses, parks and playgrounds, public buildings, public  school\nsites, or other public facilities which have been approved under subdivision\nregulations as provided in this chapter, shall be posted to the official map; no public\nhearing need be held for such additions to the official map.","path":["KRS Chapter 100"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=26767","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:04Z","sha256":"97ad09045eb2608988546f8a5917d8bbe7ad0a90a1ce4c91049a790d6f9eed81","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-100.293","next":"us-ky/krs-100.300"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
