{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-109.082","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 109.082","heading":"Contracts between counties for management, collection, or disposal of","body":"solid waste.\nWhen two (2) or more counties join with each other in the management or solely in the\ncollection or solely in the disposal of solid waste in accordance with the state s olid waste\nmanagement plan they may cause a contract to be prepared and executed which shall set\nforth:\n(1) Whether and to what extent counties shall render services to the area and receive\nservices from the area or from each other.\n(2) Whether counties will contract with a private party or parties for the management of\nsolid waste.\n(3) The financial responsibilities and contributions of the respective counties in the\njoint undertaking.\n(4) The extent to which the counties will furnish personnel and adm inistrative services\nto the area.\n(5) The terms of the contract or agreement: provided that such contract may be\nmodified from time to time as conditions may warrant and provided one or more\nadditional counties desiring to participate in the joint underta king may be permitted\nto become parties to the contract.\n(6) Such other provisions as may be necessary to execute a workable system for solid\nwaste management or solely of collection or solely of disposal of solid waste.","path":["KRS Chapter 109"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=27267","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:11Z","sha256":"122287b55a1f5620c1e4f248be222c8d93126593566a98c26db39abbfa954324","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-109.080","next":"us-ky/krs-109.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
