{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-11.400","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 11.400","heading":"Duties of Lieutenant Governor.","body":"(1) In addition to the duties prescribed for the office by the Constitution of the\nCommonwealth  of Kentucky, the duties of the Lieutenant Governor shall be as\nfollows:\n(a) To  serve as  vice chairman of the State Property and  Buildings\nCommission  as prescribed by KRS 56.450;\n(b) To  serve as vice chairman of the Kentucky Turnpike Authority as\nprescribed in KRS 175.430;\n(c) To serve as a member  of the Board of the Kentucky Housing Corporation\nin accordance with KRS 198A.030; and\n(d) To serve as a member  of Kentucky delegations on the following interstate\ncompact commissions or boards:\n1. The  Breaks Interstate Park Commission  as provided in KRS\n148.225;\n2. The Falls of the Ohio Interstate Park Commission pursuant to KRS\n148.242;\n3. The  Tennessee-Tombigbee  Waterway  Development  Authority\npursuant to KRS 182.305;\n4. The Interstate Water Sanitation Control Commissions as prescribed\nby KRS 224.18-710; and\n5. The  Kentucky Mining Advisory Council for the Interstate Mining\nCompact  as provided by KRS 350.310.\n(2) Nothing in this section shall prohibit the Governor and Lieutenant Governor\nfrom agreeing upon additional duties within the executive branch of the state\ngovernment to be performed by the Lieutenant Governor.","path":["KRS Chapter 11"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=50650","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:28Z","sha256":"ce6182ae0a5c5e90284346ccf17f13fcfd6b90eb0d5193dc39825ad3a6fda7b2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-11.360","next":"us-ky/krs-11.501"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
