{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-117.0557","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 117.0557","heading":"Schedule of actions for compliance with KRS 117.055 and 117.0551.","body":"The boundaries of all election precincts in the Commonwealth shall comply with KRS\n117.055 and 117.0551, and all county boards of elections shall have filed with the State\nBoard of Elections digital precinct boundary files and detailed descriptions of precinct\nboundaries that provide the information required by KRS 117.055 and 117.0552. For the\npurpose of implementing this section:\n(1) The State Board of Elections, in consultat ion with the Legislative Research\nCommission, shall review the boundaries of all precincts in effect to determine\nwhether or not the boundaries comply with KRS 117.055 and 117.0551. If the State\nBoard of Elections finds that a precinct boundary does not co mply with KRS\n117.055 and 117.0551, it shall so notify the county board of elections in writing.\n(2) The State Board of Elections, in consultation with the Legislative Research\nCommission, shall review the digital precinct boundary files and detailed\ndescriptions of precinct boundaries on file with the State Board of Elections to\ndetermine if the boundaries of all precincts in effect are described and mapped in a\nmanner that provides the information required by KRS 117.055 and 117.0552. If\nthe State Board o f Elections finds that the information on file does not provide the\ninformation required by KRS 117.055 and 117.0552, it shall so notify the county\nboard of elections in writing.\n(3) If a county board of elections receives notice under subsection (1) or (2 ) of this\nsection, it shall prepare a proposed precinct establishment order to establish a\nprecinct boundary in compliance with KRS 117.055 and 117.0551, or provide a\ndigital precinct boundary files and detailed description of the precinct boundary in\ncompliance with KRS 117.055 and 117.0552, or both.
