{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-117.237","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 117.237","heading":"Request for Department of Kentucky State Police to patrol voting precinct","body":"during polling hours and investigate reported violations -- Reports to\nprosecutors.\n(1) A county board of elections, a clerk, judge/executive, sheriff, fiscal court, the\nAttorney General, grand jury, or the county chairman of either of the two (2)\npolitical parties which polled the largest vote in the preceding general election may\nrequest that the Department of Kentucky State Police patrol voting precincts in the\ncounty during the hours the polls are open on the day of any primary or regular or\nspecial election for the purpose of maintaining order and enforcing the election laws\nof the state. The Department of Kentucky State Police shall investigate any reported\nviolations of the  election laws.
