{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-117.343","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 117.343","heading":"Reimbursement of county clerk by state board for certain election related","body":"expenses -- Submission of claims.\nThe county clerk may request reimbursement from the State Board of Elections, for the\ncost of employing office personnel necessary for the cond uct of elections, including the\nregistration and purgation of voters in the county. Such reimbursement shall not exceed\nfifty cents ($0.50) per registered voter in the county per year. Claims for reimbursement\nshall be submitted to the state board by July 31 of each year for employment costs for the\npreceding fiscal year. Claims shall be on forms provided by the State Board of Elections\nand shall show in detail the employee time and costs. If the State Board of Elections\ndetermines that the claims are valid  and reasonable, the state board shall submit the\nclaims to the Treasury for payment and they shall be paid within thirty (30) working days.\nThe state board may issue administrative regulations prescribing the method and forms\nfor documenting and submitting the claims.","path":["KRS Chapter 117"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=27435","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:13Z","sha256":"16690f48c2b89289a23479561575ca94c60d221107504a540313316ca328c284","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-117.340","next":"us-ky/krs-117.345"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
