{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-117.355","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 117.355","heading":"Election reports to be made by the precinct election sheriff and county","body":"board of elections -- Contents.\n(1) Within three (3) days after any primary or general election, the precinct election\nsheriff shall file a report with the chair of the county board of elections and with the\nlocal grand jury. The report shall include any irregularities observed and any\nrecommendations for improving the election process.\n(2) Within ten (10) days after any primary or general election, the county board of\nelections shall transmit the information required by KRS 117.275(6) and shall file a\nreport with the State Board of Elections and the local grand jury. The report shall\ninclude any irregularities of which the county board has knowledge and any\nrecommendations for improving the election process. The report shall also include a\nbreakdown by precinct of the number of voters requiring assistance to vote and the\nreasons therefor; the number of special ballots cast by category; and any other\ninformation required by the state board.\n(3) The State Board of Elections shall issue administrative regulations under KRS\nChapter 13A to prescribe the forms required by this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 117"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56996","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:13Z","sha256":"adb689d6f8b5fdf64a28c408702dc1ac51eb9b0a9b34dbec05eac4742ba270ee","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-117.350","next":"us-ky/krs-117.360"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
