{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-117a.150","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 117A.150","heading":"Sample ballot.","body":"(1) At least fifty (50) days before a regularly scheduled election and forty-five (45)\ndays before an election not regularly scheduled, an official in each jurisdiction\ncharged with printing and distributing ballots and balloting material shall make\navailable a sample ballot that includes all of the ballot measures and federal,\nstate, and local offices provided in KRS  117A.020 that will be on the ballot on\nthe date of the election, and shall provide an electronic copy of the sample\nballot to the Secretary of State and to the State Board of Elections.\n(2) The  State Board of Elections, Secretary of State, and any local election\njurisdiction that maintains an Internet Web  site shall make  the sample ballot\nrequired under subsection (1) of this section available on their Web sites.\n(3) A covered voter may request a copy of a sample ballot from the Secretary of\nState, the local election official, or the State Board of Elections, who shall send\nthe sample ballot to the voter by facsimile, electronic mail, or regular mail, as\nthe voter requests.","path":["KRS Chapter 117A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48519","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:14Z","sha256":"2576b924b578a8422e277b4a2e9d6d0134029bb4765b31894bc30ce8a8e245a6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-117a.140","next":"us-ky/krs-117a.160"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
