{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-118.356","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 118.356","heading":"Filing of certificates and petitions of nomination.","body":"(1) Certificates and petitions of nomination shall, in the case of candidates voted for by\nthe state at large or by a district greater than one (1) county, be filed with the\nSecretary of State. In the case of candidates voted for by a county or by a district\nless than a county, they shall be filed with the county clerk. In the case of candidates\nvoted for by a city whose boundaries extend beyond those of a single county, they\nshall be filed with the county clerk of the county in which a candidate resides. In the\ncase of candidates for Congress and for General Assembly, they shall be filed with\nthe Secretary of State.\n(2) Certificates of nomination at a primary election held under this chapter shall be filed\nby the State Board of Elections or the county board of elections, depending upon\nwhich one issued the certificate.
