{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-11a.221","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 11A.221","heading":"Statements of financial transactions.","body":"(1) Any executive agency lobbyist who has had any financial transaction with, or for\nthe benefit of, an elected executive official, the secretary of a cabinet listed in KRS\n12.250, an executive agency official, or any member of the staff of any of those\nofficials shall describe the details of the transaction, including the name of the\nofficial or employee, the purpose and nature of the transaction, and the date it was\nmade or entered into, in a statement filed with the commission with the updated\nregistration statement required by KRS 11A.211(2). Each statement shall describe\neach financial transaction that occurred during the prior fiscal year.\n(2) Except as provided in subsection (5) of this section, any employer who has had any\nfinancial transaction with or f or the benefit of an elected executive official, the\nsecretary of a cabinet listed in KRS 12.250, an executive agency official, or any\nmember of the staff of any of those officials shall describe the details of the\ntransaction, including the name of the of ficial or employee, the purpose and nature\nof the transaction, and the date it was made or entered into, in a statement filed with\nthe commission with the updated registration statement required by KRS\n11A.211(2). The statement shall be filed at the times specified in KRS 11A.211.\nEach statement shall describe each financial transaction that occurred during the\nprior fiscal year.\n(3) Except as provided in subsection (6) of this section, any real party in interest who\nhas had any financial transaction with o r for the benefit of any elected executive\nofficial, the secretary of a cabinet listed in KRS 12.250, an executive agency\nofficial, or any member of the staff of any of those officials shall describe the details\nof the transaction, including the name of th e official or employee, the purpose and\nnature of the transaction, and the date it was made or entered into, in a statement\nfiled with the commission with the updated registration statement required by KRS\n11A.211(2). The statement shall be filed at the ti mes specified in KRS 11A.211.\nEach statement shall describe each financial transaction that occurred during the\nprior fiscal year.\n(4) At least ten (10) days before the date on which the statement is filed, each\nemployer, executive agency lobbyist, or real party in interest who is required to file\na statement describing a financial transaction under this section shall deliver a copy\nof the statement to the official or employee with whom or for whose benefit the\ntransaction was made.\n(5) An employer shall no t be required to file any statement under this section or to\ndeliver a copy of the statement to an official or employee with whom or for whose\nbenefit the transaction was made if the financial transaction to which the statement\npertains is reported by an executive agency lobbyist engaged by the employer.\n(6) A real party in interest shall not be required to file any statement under this section\nor to deliver a copy of the statement to an official or employee with whom or for\nwhose benefit the transaction wa s made if the financial transaction to which the\nstatement pertains is reported by an executive agency lobbyist who is acting on\nbehalf of the real party in interest.","path":["KRS Chapter 11A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=610","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:28Z","sha256":"089111bb4c0ee7f0b3a7b36b14a2f91a18fb1e63e2fb54e63b629001c20894ec","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-11a.216","next":"us-ky/krs-11a.226"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
