{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-121.220","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 121.220","heading":"Primary campaign depository -- Secondary depository -- Deposits --","body":"Statements.\n(1) Each candidate, slate of candidates, and each committee shall, before receiving any\ncontributions or expending any money, designate one (1) primary campaign\ndepository for the purpose of depositing all contributions received and disbursing\nall expenditures made by the candidate, slate of candidates, or committee. The\ncandidate, slate of candidates, or committee may also designate one (1) secondary\ndepository in each county in which an election is held and in which the candidate,\nslate of candidates, or committee participates. Deputy campaign treasurers may\nmake expenditures from secondary depositories but only from moneys which first\nhave been deposited in the pr imary campaign depository. Only a financial\ninstitution authorized to transact business in Kentucky may be designated as a\ncampaign depository. The candidate, slate of candidates, or committee shall file the\nname and address of each primary and secondary d epository so designated at the\nsame time the candidate, slate of candidates, or committee files the name of his, her,\nor its campaign treasurer.\n(2) All funds received by the campaign treasurer or any deputy campaign treasurer of\nany candidate, slate of ca ndidates, or committee shall be deposited in a campaign\ndepository in an account designated \"Campaign Fund of (name of candidate or\ncommittee).\" For each deposit, the campaign treasurer or deputy campaign treasurer\nshall retain a statement showing the name  and business address of the permanent\ncommittee, the amount contributed, and a description of the major business, social,\nor political interest represented by the permanent committee for each contribution\nof any amount made by a permanent committee, and t he full name, address,\nemployer of each other contributor or, if the contributor is self -employed, the name\nunder which he or she is doing business, and occupation of each contributor of\nmore than two hundred dollars ($200) and the amount contributed.
