{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-132.025","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 132.025","heading":"Cumulative increase for 1982 -83 only by taxing district -- Limit -- Public","body":"hearing and recall provisions not applicable.\n(1) In the event that the tax rate levied by an action of a taxing district, other than the\nstate, counties, school distr icts, cities, and urban -county governments, for 1979 -80,\n1980-81, or 1981 -82 produced a percentage increase in revenue from personal\nproperty less than the percentage increase in revenue from real property for the\nrespective year, the taxing district, othe r than the state, counties, school districts,\ncities, and urban -county governments, may levy a tax rate applicable to personal\nproperty for 1982 -83 only, which will produce the same cumulative percentage\nincrease in revenue from personal property as was pr oduced from real property in\n1979-80, 1980-81 and 1981 -82. Such a tax rate may be in addition to the tax rate\nlevied under the provisions of KRS 132.024.\n(2) The tax rate levied under the provision of KRS 132.024 and subsection (1) of this\nsection shall no t exceed the tax rate applicable to personal property levied by the\nrespective taxing district, other than the state, counties, school districts, cities, and\nurban-county governments, in 1981-82.\n(3) The tax rate applicable to personal property levied by a  taxing district, other than\nthe state, counties, school districts, cities, and urban -county governments shall not\nbe subject to the public hearing provisions of KRS 132.023(2) and to the recall\nprovisions of KRS 132.023(3).","path":["KRS Chapter 132"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=50517","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:23Z","sha256":"b913fd5785cd45e9e34f3d929076906acb71abbf3dc0578a096e4adc53796c5b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-132.024","next":"us-ky/krs-132.027"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
