{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-134.131","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 134.131","heading":"County clerk to annually provide department with list of certificates of","body":"delinquency received from sheriff -- Publication on department's Web site.\n(1) On or before May 15, 2013, and each May 15 thereafter, each county clerk shall\nprovide or shall arr ange to provide to the department a list of all certificates of\ndelinquency received by the county clerk from the sheriff for that year, and that are\nin the possession of the clerk on the day the information is provided. The list shall\ninclude, at a minimu m, the property owner name, property address, and parcel\nnumber or lot number if available. To the extent possible, the list shall be provided\nto the department in an electronic format.\n(2) On or before June 1, 2013, and on or before each June 1 thereafter , the department\nshall publish on its Internet Web site a consolidated list of certificates of\ndelinquency by county. To the extent possible, within each county, the list shall be\nin alphabetical order by property owner name, and shall include at a minimum  the\nproperty owner name, property address, and parcel number or lot number if\navailable.\n(3) The information required by this section shall be provided by the county clerks and\ndepartment as a public service. The department, the county clerk, and the employees\nthereof shall be held harmless regarding the content or any omission relating to\ninformation provided.\n(4) If the tax collection schedule is delayed in any county, that county shall provide the\ninformation required by subsection (1) of this section to the department within thirty\n(30) days of receipt from the sheriff, and the department shall publish the\ninformation on its Web site within fifteen (15) days of receipt from the county clerk.","path":["KRS Chapter 134"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=40091","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:25Z","sha256":"1860fc16dc35a9eadca405f9eb61bb8c2cae694a5a5b8306909ce2a8ca3b0178","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-134.130","next":"us-ky/krs-134.140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
