{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-135.990","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 135.990","heading":"Penalties.","body":"(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, any officer who fails to perform\nany duty required of him by KRS 135.030 shall be fined not less than fifty dollars\n($50) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100) for each offense.\n(2) Any officer who makes a false return on an execution issued pursuant to subsection\n(1) of KRS 135.100 shall be fined twenty dollars ($20), upon notice and motion.\n(3) Any person who violates subsection (3) of KRS 135.100 shall be fined not less than\nfive hundred dollars ($500).\n(4) Any person who fails to do an act required, or does an act forbidden, by any\nprovision of this chapter for which no other penalty is provided shall be fined not\nless than ten dollars ($10) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500).","path":["KRS Chapter 135"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=28487","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:26Z","sha256":"6aebed39890288e4b5cc024f5ab4bbe1e8749fcd4bf29499ea0d91b63c7f240a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-135.190","next":"us-ky/krs-136.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
