{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-13a.050","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 13A.050","heading":"Kentucky Administrative Regulations Service -- Administrative Register","body":"of Kentucky -- Publication dates -- Certificate of compiler -- Fees.\n(1) The Legislative Research Commission shall compile, publish, and distribute the\nadministrative regulations filed by administrative bodies. This compilation shall be\nknown as the Kentucky Administrative Regulations Service. The Legislative\nResearch Commission shall maintain the official version of the administrative\nregulations in an electronic database that sh all be made available to the public as\nprovided by KRS 7.500.\n(2) (a) There is hereby created a publication known as \"Administrative Register of\nKentucky\" or \"Administrative Register\" to be published on a monthly basis by\nthe Legislative Research Commissio n for the purpose of giving notice of\nadministrative regulations filed in accordance with this chapter.\n(b) Every administrative regulation forwarded to the Legislative Research\nCommission shall have its complete text published in the Administrative\nRegister along with the accompanying statements required by KRS 13A.190,\n13A.210, 13A.2251(1), 13A.240, 13A.245, 13A.250, and 13A.270.\n(c) Within five (5) workdays of the publication of an administrative regulation in\nthe Administrative Register, an administrative body shall:\n1. Review the text and accompanying statements of the administrative\nregulation; and\n2. Notify the regulations compiler in writing or by e-mail of errors.\n(3) The Administrative Register shall be published the first day of each month and shall\ninclude all administrative regulations received by the Legislative Research\nCommission by 12 noon, eastern time, on the fifteenth day of the preceding month.\nWhen the fifteenth day falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, the deadline is the\nworkday that immediately precedes the Saturday, Sunday, or holiday.\n(4) The compiler shall cause to be prepared a certificate to the effect that the text of the\nadministrative regulations as published in this service is correct. One (1) copy of the\nKentucky Administr ative Regulations Service with the original certificate therein\nshall be provided to the Office of the Secretary of State.\n(5) The Commission shall prescribe reasonable fees for subscription to the Kentucky\nAdministrative Regulations Service and the Admini strative Register. All fees paid\nto the Commission for these publications shall be placed in the State Treasury to the\ncredit of a revolving trust or agency fund account, for use by the Legislative\nResearch Commission in carrying out the provisions of this section.\n(6) Copies of administrative regulations or other items required to be filed by this\nchapter shall be made available to any interested party upon request to the\nLegislative Research Commission. The Commission may prescribe reasonable fees\nfor duplication services and all fees paid to the Commission for duplication services\nshall be placed in the State Treasury to the credit of a revolving trust or agency fund\naccount, for use by the Legislative Research Commission in carrying out the\nprovisions of this subsection.","path":["KRS Chapter 13A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=45149","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:30Z","sha256":"0541e2202efa7b1f1301dc0408770e1131f959b857bd6289291bdfef41457d85","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-13a.040","next":"us-ky/krs-13a.060"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
