{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-13a.200","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 13A.200","heading":"Administrative regulation in contemplation of a statute -- Procedure.","body":"An administrative regulation in contemplation of a statute provides a means whereby an\nadministrative body may promulgate and file an administrative regulation following the\nenactment of a statute authorizing or directing its promulgation by the General As sembly\nand its approval by the Governor or its becoming law without signature but before the\neffective date subject to the following:\n(1) The administrative regulation may be filed any time after signature by the Governor\nor upon the act becoming law witho ut the Governor's signature but prior to the act's\neffective date;\n(2) The administrative regulation may be reviewed, hearings held, and all other steps\ntaken with regard thereto, except for adoption, prior to the effective date of the\nstatute that authorized or directed its issuance;\n(3) All dates and other procedures that apply to an ordinary administrative regulation\nshall apply to an administrative regulation in contemplation of a statute; and\n(4) An administrative regulation in contemplation of a statu te shall in all other respects\nbe considered as an ordinary administrative regulation.","path":["KRS Chapter 13A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=45158","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:30Z","sha256":"e89ba70ab63ff7d4cd6b129b812a112a313fcaf440145ae61144d478c80af8b4","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-13a.190","next":"us-ky/krs-13a.210"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
