{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-13a.255","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 13A.255","heading":"Notice of ordinary administrative regulation proposing to establish or","body":"increase fees.\n(1) (a) Within five (5) working days of filing an emergency or ordinary\nadministrative regulation that would establish or increase fees, except those\nfees exempted by KRS 13A.100(3), an administrative body shall mail or\nemail a notice containing the information required by subsection (2) of this\nsection, to each state association, organization, or other body representing a\nperson or entity affected by the administrative regulation.\n(b) If an emergency administrative regulation is filed with an identical ordinary\nadministrative regulation, the administrative body may include both\nadministrative regulations in the same notice.\n(2) The notice shall include the following information:\n(a) The name of the administrative body that filed the administrative regulation;\n(b) A statement that the administrative body has promulgated an administrative\nregulation that establishes or increases fees;\n(c) A summary of the administrative regulation that includes:\n1. The amount of each fee being established;\n2. The amount of any increases to any fees previously established; and\n3. The necessity for the establishment or increase in the fees;\n(d) A statement that a person or entity may contact the administrative body for\nadditional information;\n(e) The time, date, and place of the scheduled public hearing;\n(f) The deadline for submitt ing written comments as established in KRS\n13A.270(1)(c); and\n(g) The name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number of the\ncontact person for the administrative body identified pursuant to KRS\n13A.220(6)(d).","path":["KRS Chapter 13A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56294","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:30Z","sha256":"ee44fd9364454699326c2f752f960166a35d90333a4aa69e8fb052116d05e9f1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-13a.250","next":"us-ky/krs-13a.260"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
