{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-14.105","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 14.105","heading":"Acceptance of electronic signatures.","body":"(1) The Secretary of State may accept electronic signatures to meet the filing\nrequirements for a:\n(a) Corporation as required in KRS Chapter 271B;\n(b) Nonprofit corporation as required in KRS Chapter 273;\n(c) Professional service corporation as required in KRS Chapter 274;\n(d) Limited liability company as required in KRS Chapter 275;\n(e) Partnership as required in KRS Chapter 362;\n(f) Partnership as required in Subchapter 1 of KRS Chapter 362;\n(g) Limited partnership as required in Subchapter 2 of KRS Chapter 362;\n(h) Cooperative corporations and associations as required in KRS Chapter 272 or\n272A;\n(i) Business trust as required in KRS Chapter 386 or a statutory trust under KRS\nChapter 386A;\n(j) Rural electric and rural telephone cooperative corporation as requ ired in KRS\nChapter 279;\n(k) Unincorporated nonprofit association as required in KRS Chapter 273A;\n(l) Assumed name filing under KRS Chapter 365; and\n(m) Filings under KRS Chapter 14A.\n(2) The electronic signature shall satisfy the requirements set forth in KRS 369.101 to\n369.120.","path":["KRS Chapter 14"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=44314","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:31Z","sha256":"3316db14deb802d4095250a082537f32cbec07eaac32bcba00e6e2ed394123c2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-14.100","next":"us-ky/krs-14.110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
