{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-14.260","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 14.260","heading":"Safe at Home Program fund.","body":"(1) The Safe at Home Program fund is hereby created as a separate trust fund in the\nState Treasury. The Safe at Home Program fund shall consist of amounts received\nfrom fees collected pursuant to KRS 23A.208 and 24A.178, amounts received from\nappropriations, a nd any other proceeds from gifts, grants, federal funds, or any\nother funds, both public and private, made available for the purposes of this section.\n(2) The Safe at Home Program fund shall be administered by the Secretary of State to\noperate and maintain  the Safe at Home Program established in KRS 14.302 and\nshall not be used for any other purposes.\n(3) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, Safe at Home Program fund amounts not expended\nat the close of a fiscal year shall not lapse but shall be carried forward into  the next\nfiscal year.\n(4) Any interest earnings of the Safe at Home Program fund shall become a part of the\nSafe at Home Program fund and shall not lapse.\n(5) Moneys deposited in the Safe at Home Program fund are hereby appropriated for\nthe purposes set forth in this section and shall not be appropriated or transferred by\nthe General Assembly for any other purposes.","path":["KRS Chapter 14"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54141","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:31Z","sha256":"73996b9e332621c5b5fecbaa2aa5375972c02ff720357273e5a298692315f698","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-14.255","next":"us-ky/krs-14.300"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
