{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-141.450","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 141.450","heading":"Public policy.","body":"The General Assembly declares that it is the public policy of the Commonwealth of\nKentucky to set aside and preserve, for the benefit of present and future generations,\ncertain areas of unusual natural significance as laboratories for scientific research, as\nreservoirs of natural materials not all of the uses of which are now known, as habitats for\nplant and animal species and biotic communities, as living museums of the native\nlandscape where people may observe nature's web of life and our natural heritage , as\nplaces of historic and natural interest and scenic beauty, and as reminders of the vital\nhuman dependence upon fresh air, clean water, and unspoiled natural areas.
