{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-146.510","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 146.510","heading":"Construction of KRS 146.410 to 146.530.","body":"(1) Nothing contained in KRS 146.410 to 146.530 shall be construed as interfering with\nthe purposes stated in the establishment of any national, state or local park,\npreserve, wildlife refuge, wildlife management area, forest or other similar area or\nthe prope r management and development thereof, except that any agency\nadministering a natural area dedicated as a nature preserve under the provisions of\nKRS 146.410 to 146.530 shall be responsible for preserving the character of the\nnatural area in accordance with  the articles of dedication and the applicable rules\nand regulations with respect thereto established by the office under KRS 146.410 to\n146.530.\n(2) Neither the dedication of a natural area as a nature preserve, nor any action taken by\nthe office under a ny of the provisions of KRS 146.410 to 146.530, shall void or\nreplace any protective status under law which the natural area would have were it\nnot a nature preserve, and the protective provisions of KRS 146.410 to 146.530\nshall be supplemental thereto.","path":["KRS Chapter 146"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=47554","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:38Z","sha256":"c3d9538fe1b7991f22ef12778050355dc582d15eb804709f84ff591678558b2a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-146.507","next":"us-ky/krs-146.515"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
