{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-147a.029","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 147A.029","heading":"Disbursement of funds for Local Match Participation Program.","body":"(1) The commissioner of the Department for Local Government shall administer and\ndetermine the disbursement of funds for the Local Match Participation Program.\n(2) Funds appropriated f or the Local Match Participation Program may be used as\nmatching funds by local governments, soil and water conservation districts\nestablished under KRS 262.010 to 262.660, or watershed conservancy districts\nestablished under KRS 262.700 to 262.795 for flo od-related projects and straight\nsewage pipe removal projects with:\n(a) The United States Army Corps of Engineers;\n(b) The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA);\n(c) The United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation\nService; and\n(d) Other federal government grant and loan programs requiring local matching\nfunds.\n(3) Any general fund appropriations made for the Local Match Participation Program\nmay be used for flood control planning and mitigation activities and straight sewage\npipe removal and mitigation activities.","path":["KRS Chapter 147A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54497","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:39Z","sha256":"b276644dc1bfc6cdd15aabe516fef5dbd1d9a354558b91bd7a19ee1e716b419b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-147a.028","next":"us-ky/krs-147a.030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
