{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-147a.032","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 147A.032","heading":"Industrial revenue bond information clearinghouse.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"department\" means the Department for Local Government.\n(2) The department may, to the extent resources are available, establish an industrial\nrevenue bond information clearinghouse to serve as a central statewide point of\ncontact for the dissemination of information and guidance relating to the issuance\nand use of industrial revenue bonds by units of local government.\n(3) The clearinghouse shall collect and disseminate information and guidance that may\nbe adopted by units of local government seeking to issue industrial revenue bonds,\nincluding:\n(a) Identification of best practices;\n(b) Model ordinances and resolutions;\n(c) Proper issuance procedures;\n(d) Examples of possible uses of industrial revenue bond proceeds; and\n(e) Other model guidelines.\n(4) Information provided through the clearinghouse shall be published on a Web site\nthat is accessible to the general public to assist private sector businesses, nonprofit\norganizations, and others that may benefit from the issuance of indu strial revenue\nbonds.\n(5) The Finance and Administration Cabinet, the Cabinet for Economic Development,\nand the Energy and Environment Cabinet shall assist the department, as needed, in\nthe development of the clearinghouse, to ensure the most complete, acc urate, and\ncurrent information relating to the issuance and possible uses of industrial revenue\nbonds is available on the Web site.\n(6) After the initial development of the clearinghouse is complete, and for as long as it\nis available, a link to the Web si te shall be made available on the one -stop business\nportal established in KRS 14.250.","path":["KRS Chapter 147A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=43478","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:39Z","sha256":"7867a5e4f5384c4bbfb4e67358476fed1b8396bd8d5e7b91c9e3b678b2c634c0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-147a.031","next":"us-ky/krs-147a.040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
