{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-147a.115","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 147A.115","heading":"Annual  reports of receipt and expenditure of state and federal","body":"fundings.\n(1) By December  31 of each year beginning in 2017, the Cabinet for Health and\nFamily Services and the Education and Labor Cabinet shall, following any year\nin which the cabinet awarded federal or state funds to an area development\ndistrict, prepare and submit a detailed report to the Legislative Research\nCommission  and area development district board members. The report shall\ninclude the total amount of state and federal funds distributed to each area\ndevelopment district, broken down by funding source and program from the\npreceding fiscal year.\n(2) By  December  31 of each year beginning in 2017, each area development\ndistrict shall, following any year in which the area development district receives\nstate or federal funds, prepare and submit a detailed report to the Legislative\nResearch Commission and area development board members. The report shall\ninclude the following financial information from the preceding fiscal year:\n(a) For each allocation, distribution, award, or grant of state or federal funds,\nthe total amount, the percentage of the total amount, and a description of\nthe specific types of expenditures made for or allocated to:\n1. Administrative costs;\n2. Direct expenditures; and\n3. Indirect expenditures;\n(b) Allocation, distribution, award, or grant funds not expended, and an\nexplanation of why the funds were not expended;\n(c) The  total amount of reserves carried forward by the area development\ndistrict, identification of the source of those funds, and an explanation of\nwhy the funds are being carried forward; and\n(d) For each program:\n1. A list of direct services provided by the district;\n2. A list of service providers contracted by the district and the services\nprovided by those providers;\n3. The number of eligible persons for the program, number of persons\nserved by the program, and, if applicable, number  of people on\nwaiting lists for the program; and\n4. The  performance measures  required by the contract used  to\nevaluate the area development district's actions.\n(3) The  Legislative Research  Commission  shall distribute the report to the\nappropriate interim joint committees and to the budget review subcommittee\nthat has jurisdiction over the Cabinet for Health Family Services or the\nEducation and Labor Cabinet.","path":["KRS Chapter 147A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=52337","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:39Z","sha256":"707c1b82e03d55209f8120c8e8417763cd316c6e85ca6f25f8b48e726eb253ad","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-147a.110","next":"us-ky/krs-147a.116"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
