{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-147a.150","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 147A.150","heading":"Findings and declarations -- Legislative intent.","body":"(1) The General Assembly finds and declares that the purpose of KRS 147A.150 to\n147A.166 is to support the priority communities in the Commonwealth designated\nby the Interagency Working Group on Coal and Power Plant Communities and\nEconomic Revitalization established by Presidential Executive Order 14008, issued\non January 27, 2021.\n(2) In enacting KRS 147A.150 to 147A.166, it is the intention of the General Assembly\nto create and establish the Government Resources Accelerating Needed\nTransformation Program wit hin the Department for Local Government to enable\npriority communities to access federal funding for projects that are in the public\ninterest and for a public purpose.\n(3) The General Assembly further finds and declares that priority communities would\nbenefit from the assistance of their local universities and encourages those entities\nto assist their priority communities in applying for Government Resources\nAccelerating Needed Transformation Program funds.","path":["KRS Chapter 147A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54190","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:39Z","sha256":"d06dd3559108e3f0b16e358f54b75af514112c2317c023b4449ece96f87c79a1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-147a.140","next":"us-ky/krs-147a.152"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
