{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-147a.158","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 147A.158","heading":"Government Resources Accelerating Needed Transformation Program","body":"fund -- Report -- Funds remaining after June 30, 2024, transferred to\nGovernment Resources Accelerating Needed Transformation Program of 2024\nfund.\n(1) There is hereby establish ed in the State Treasury a trust and agency account to be\nknown as the Government Resources Accelerating Needed Transformation Program\nfund. The fund shall consist of moneys received from state appropriations, gifts,\ngrants, and federal funds.\n(2) The fund shall be administered and maintained by the department.\n(3) Amounts deposited in the fund shall be used for:\n(a) Awarding matching fund grants to applicants of the Government Resources\nAccelerating Needed Transformation Program upon notification of award of\nthe federal grant requiring matching funds; and\n(b) Administration of the program.\n(4) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, moneys in the account not expended at the close of a\nfiscal year shall not lapse but shall be carried forward into the next fiscal year.\n(5) Any interest earnings of the fund shall become a part of the fund and shall not\nlapse.\n(6) Moneys deposited in the fund are hereby appropriated for the purposes set forth in\nthis section and shall not be appropriated or transferred by the General Assemb ly\nfor any other purposes.\n(7) Any amounts obligated under subsection (3)(a) of this section shall be canceled\nupon denial of the federal award.\n(8) By December 1, 2023, and annually thereafter until December 1, 2024, the\ndepartment shall prepare an annual  report detailing the expenditures for the\nadministration of the program from the fund, which shall be included in the annual\nreport submitted under KRS 147A.164.\n(9) Any moneys in the fund on or after June 30, 2024, shall be transferred to the\nGovernment Resources Accelerating Needed Transformation Program of 2024 fund\nadministered by the Cabinet for Economic Development created in KRS 154.14 -\n060.","path":["KRS Chapter 147A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54608","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:39Z","sha256":"f03e9a628ee3ef9d44cdeaded3c833945c22b3c4a56e4c160424140e18fedf01","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-147a.156","next":"us-ky/krs-147a.160"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
