The fund shall consist of funds appropriated from the\ngeneral fund, and any other proceeds from appropriations, contributions, gifts, or\ngrants made available for the purposes of the fund.\n(2) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, any moneys remaining in the fund at the close of a\nfiscal year shall not lapse but shall be carried forward to the next fiscal year.\n(3) Any interest earnings of the fund shall become a part of the fund and shall not lapse.\n(4) The fund shall be administered by the Department for Local Government, and\nmoneys in the fund shall be used to provide grants under KRS 147A.320.","path":["KRS Chapter 147A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=1668","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:39Z","sha256":"60696c1400ee9ab567392b63ae24b80263ca429a2d2682018b13fb0bec28e754","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-147a.310","next":"us-ky/krs-147a.320"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
