{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-147b.100","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 147B.100","heading":"Governor's Financial Policy Council -- Purpose -- Members -- Meetings --","body":"Reimbursement.\n(1) There is recognized as established the Governor's Financial Policy Council. The\npurpose of the council shall be to advise the Governor on economic and financi al\nmatters relating to revenue, budgetary, and financial management policies.\n(2) The council shall consist of the secretary of Finance and Administration Cabinet,\nthe state budget director, and four (4) at-large members, appointed by the Governor,\nwho sha ll be persons that are knowledgeable by reason of their experience and\nacademic training, in the fields of business, financial management or public policy.\nThe Governor shall designate one (1) of the four (4) at -large members to serve as\nchairman of the council.\n(3) The terms of the at -large members shall coincide with the elected term of the\nGovernor who appointed them. Vacancies in the at-large membership of the council\nshall be filled by appointment by the Governor for the unexpired portion of the\nvacated member's term.\n(4) The council shall meet at least annually and shall hold other meetings deemed\nnecessary by a majority of the membership or when requested by the Governor.\n(5) The members of the Governor's council shall serve without compensation for t heir\nservices but shall be reimbursed, subject to the provisions of KRS 45.101 and state\ntravel regulations, for all actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance\nof their duties as members of the council.","path":["KRS Chapter 147B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=1678","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:40Z","sha256":"7d94fc39063f4b8e22e51b30909aebe99f92273fd69ce3d449cc750c33a6e598","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-147b.035","next":"us-ky/krs-147b.110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
