{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-148.111","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 148.111","heading":"State Property and Buildings Commission to promote national parks --","body":"Agreements -- Powers.\nThe State Property and Buildings Commission is hereby authorized and directed to\nfurther the establishment of national parks in such areas in Kentucky as the Co ngress of\nthe United States designates. To accomplish that purpose, the commission may enter into\nagreements with the United States relating to the survey, location, and conveyance of\nproperty acquired by the commission for that purpose. It may fully coope rate with the\nUnited States and do all necessary acts to provide for the establishment of national parks\nunder such terms as are provided by any relative Act of Congress. To accomplish this end\nthe commission shall acquire land, caves, cave rights, leaseho ld interests, money and\nother property for public park purposes and to convey them to the United States for the\nestablishment of national parks. The commission may do such other acts necessary to\npromote and accomplish its purpose.
