{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-148.525","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 148.525","heading":"Functions of divisions.","body":"(1) The Division of Tourism Services shall operate the highway welcome centers,\nconduct a hospitality education program for the tourism industry, coordinate the\nprovision of mail and telephone information services to visitors, and generate sales\nrevenue to the tourism industry of the Commonwealth through participation in trade\nshows and markets.\n(2) The Division of Marketing and Advertising shall be responsible for state tourism\nadvertising, the state matching fund tourism advertising program, the development\nand maintenance of a marketing and research database on tourism, market survey\nprograms, and special studies related to the tourism industry.\n(3) The commissioner of tourism may promulgate administrative regulations in\naccordance with provisions of KRS Chapter 13A in order to carry out the provisions\nof KRS 148.522 and this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 148"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=1751","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:41Z","sha256":"a7983f67eb548999f368e5cc16b71ccab5007a114ac9ff042ba7ea8dd7d85785","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-148.522","next":"us-ky/krs-148.527"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
