{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-148.700","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 148.700","heading":"Acquisition of land or interest in land.","body":"Within the exterior boundaries of the right -of-way, the commissioner may acquire, on\nbehalf of the state, lands in fee title, or interest in land in the form of scenic easements, or\ncooperative agreements. Acquisition of land or of interest therein may be by gift,\npurchase with donated funds, funds appropriated by the General Assembly, proceeds from\nthe sale of bonds, exchange, assumption of property tax payments, or otherwise.\nAcquisition of land or interest therein shall be accomplished with all possible speed.
