{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-148.720","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 148.720","heading":"Limitation on use of motorized vehicles.","body":"The use of motorized vehicles by the general public within the right -of-way of any state\nscenic or recreation trail shall be prohibited and nothing in KRS 148.610 to 148.780 shall\nbe construed as authorizing the use of motorized vehicles in these rights -of-way;\nprovided, that the department shall establish regulations which shall authorize the use of\nmotorized vehicles when such vehicles are required to meet emergencies where life or\nhealth is at risk, for the maintenance of established trails, or to enable  present or adjacent\nlandowners or land users to have access to their lands or timber rights where no\nreasonable alternative method of access exists or could be constructed.
