The cabinet is\nauthorized to make, conduct or participate in any investigations and surveys designed to\nestablish the cause of and responsibility for a particular forest fire or forest fire conditions\ngenerally and to cooperate with any and all law enforcement officers of or i n this state in\nthe apprehension and prosecution of persons violating this law.
