{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-14a.1-050","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 14A.1-050","heading":"Penalties imposed for failure to answer interrogatories.","body":"(1) If an entity or foreign entity fails or refuses to answer truthfully and fully within the\ntime prescribed to any interrogatories propounded by the Secretary of State, the\nSecretary of State may with respect to that entity initiate its administrative\ndissolution or, with respect to a foreign entity qualified to transact business in\nKentucky, revoke its certificate of authority.\n(2) Each person who fails or refuses within the time prescribed to truthfully and fully\nanswer interrogatories propounded to an entity or a foreign entity shall be guilty of a\nmisdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100).\n(3) Further, an action may be initiated in Franklin Circuit Court by the Secretary of\nState or the Attorney General against any domestic or foreign entity in furtherance\nof KRS 14A.1-040(1).","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36519","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:32Z","sha256":"c161d219f436d30e4f72ece9489563bcc57e0410359392b42c028a817dfab817","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-14a.1-040","next":"us-ky/krs-14a.1-060"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
