{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-14a.2-080","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 14A.2-080","heading":"Withdrawal of filing before effectiveness.","body":"(1) The parties to a document having a delayed effective date, time, or both may\nwithdraw the filing before it takes effect.\n(2) To withdraw a document, the parties shall deliver a statement of withdrawal to the\nSecretary of State for filing.\n(3) A statement of withdrawal shall:\n(a) Be signed on behalf of each party to the action or transaction contemplated by\nthe initial document in accordance with KRS 14A.2-020;\n(b) State the nature of the document to be withdrawn, the date of the filing, and\nthe parties to the filing; and\n(c) State that the document has been withdrawn in accordance with the agreement\nof the parties.\n(4) From the filing by the Secretary of State of a statement of withdrawal, the action or\ntransaction evidenced by the original filing shall not take effect.\n(5) A statement of withdrawal shall be accompanied by a filing fee equal to that of the\nfiled document that is being withdrawn.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36533","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:32Z","sha256":"c7ed720217b4b0572b524178e204cd3a1a57866575674a10cbbb9931cb61507b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-14a.2-070","next":"us-ky/krs-14a.2-090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
