{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-14a.2-090","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 14A.2-090","heading":"Correcting filed documents.","body":"(1) An entity or foreign entity may correct a document filed by the Secretary of State if:\n(a) The document contains an inaccuracy;\n(b) The document was defectively executed, attested, sealed, verified, or\nacknowledged; or\n(c) Electronic transmission of the do cument to the Secretary of State was\ndefective.\n(2) A document is corrected by:\n(a) Preparing articles of correction that:\n1. Describe the document, including its filing date, or attach a copy of it to\nthe articles of correction;\n2. Specify the inaccuracy or defect to be corrected; and\n3. Correct the inaccuracy or defect; and\n(b) Delivering the articles of correction to the Secretary of State for filing.\n(3) Articles of correction shall be effective on the effective date of the document they\ncorrect except as to persons relying on the uncorrected document adversely affected\nby the correction.
