{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-14a.2-160","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 14A.2-160","heading":"Filing by the Secretary of State -- Entity to be in good standing --","body":"Exceptions.\n(1) An entity or foreign entity shall be in good standing in order for documents\ndelivered by or on behalf of the entity or foreign entity to be filed by the Secretary\nof State.\n(2) Subsection (1) of this section shall not apply to:\n(a) An application to reinstate subsequent to administrative dissolution;\n(b) A permitted revocation of a voluntary dissolution;\n(c) An application for a certificate of authority filed on beh alf of a foreign entity\nwhose prior certificate of authority was revoked; or\n(d) A permitted amendment of the organizational filing of an entity whose period\nof duration has expired.\n(3) Notwithstanding that an entity or foreign entity is not in good stand ing, the\nregistered agent may deliver for filing and the Secretary of State may file:\n(a) The resignation of the registered agent, the discontinuance of the registered\noffice, or both; or\n(b) A change of registered office filed by the registered agent.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=39651","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:32Z","sha256":"25e7933d01ca306d696fbf3d51c4bbc8e608beec187a29b36d57c29509226feb","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-14a.2-150","next":"us-ky/krs-14a.2-165"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
