{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-14a.7-020","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 14A.7-020","heading":"Procedure for and effect of administrative dissolution.","body":"(1) If the Secretary of State determines that one (1) or more grounds exist for the\nadministrative dissolution of an entity, the Secretary of State shall advise the entity\nof that determination.\n(2) If the entity does not within sixty (60) days from the date o n which the notice was\nmailed, correct each ground for dissolution or demonstrate to the reasonable\nsatisfaction of the Secretary of State that each ground determined by the Secretary\nof State does not exist, the Secretary of State shall administratively d issolve the\nentity by signing a certificate of dissolution that recites the ground or grounds for\ndissolution and its effective date. The Secretary of State shall file the original of the\ncertificate and advise the entity of that determination.\n(3) An entity administratively dissolved continues its existence but shall not carry on\nany business except that necessary to wind up and liquidate its business and affairs.\n(4) The administrative dissolution of an entity shall not terminate the authority of its\nregistered agent.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36557","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:32Z","sha256":"18aeb2446c75fc40d3d559f71ce2a2695cc4bf4c9ee2849d0868c4316738ef40","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-14a.7-010","next":"us-ky/krs-14a.7-030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
