{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-14a.7-040","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 14A.7-040","heading":"Appeal from denial of reinstatement.","body":"(1) If the Secretary of State denies an entity's application for reinstatement the Secretary\nof State shall notify the entity and provide the reason or reasons for denial, which\nnotification may be accomplished electronically.\n(2) The entity may appeal the denial of reinstatement to the Franklin Circuit Court. The\nentity may appeal by petitioning the court to set aside the dissolution and attaching\nto the petition copies of the Secretary of State's certificate of dissolution, the entity's\napplication for reinstatement, and the Secretary of State's notice of denial.\n(3) The court may summarily order the Secretary of State to reinstate the dissolved\nentity or may take other action the court considers appropriate.\n(4) The court's final decision may be appealed as in other civil proceedings.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36566","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:32Z","sha256":"4aa080df896aebb2c088e8d7fa6b19cccda687e7b777d5c54be661e47670766c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-14a.7-030","next":"us-ky/krs-14a.8-010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
