{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-14a.9-070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 14A.9-070","heading":"Grounds for revocation.","body":"The Secretary of State may commence a proceeding to revoke the certificate of authority\nof a foreign entity if:\n(1) The foreign entity does not deliver its annual report to the Secretary of State for\nfiling on or before the due date;\n(2) The foreign entity  is without a registered office or registered agent in this\nCommonwealth for sixty (60) days or more;\n(3) The foreign entity does comply with KRS 14A.4-020;\n(4) An incorporator, organizer, director, member, manager, officer, partner, agent or\ntrustee of the foreign entity signed a document knowing it was false in any material\nrespect with intent that the document be delivered to the Secretary of State for\nfiling; or\n(5) The Secretary of State receives a duly authenticated certificate from the Secretary of\nState or other official having custody of business entity records in the state or\ncountry under whose law the foreign entity is organized stating that it has been\ndissolved or disappeared as the result of a merger.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36574","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:32Z","sha256":"f778d671019eb2ef7ba53fca107f13a8895263e656954bfccfc6693c024f5ecb","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-14a.9-060","next":"us-ky/krs-14a.9-080"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
