{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-15.025","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 15.025","heading":"Conditions to furnishing opinions.","body":"The Attorney General, when requested in writing, under KRS 15.020, shall furnish such\nopinions subject to the following conditions:\n(1) When questions of law of interest to the Commonwealth are submitted by a state\ndepartment, agency, board or commission;\n(2) When public questions of law are submitted by either house of the Legislature or by\nany member of the Legislature;\n(3) When public questions of law pertaining to local government are submitted in\nwriting by the proper public official of the county or o ther political subdivision of\nthe Commonwealth;\n(4) When, in the discretion of the Attorney General, the question presented is of such\npublic interest that an Attorney General's opinion on the subject is deemed desirable\nand when provided for by regulation pursuant to the provisions of this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 15"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=875","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:32Z","sha256":"bebf90644af24bce0c8de42949dcefd5f6b25f4c5f4424638b8d5c20332eb9c5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-15.020","next":"us-ky/krs-15.030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
