{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-15.360","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 15.360","heading":"Certification of police instructors.","body":"(1) The Kentucky Law Enforcement Council shall have the power to certify police\ninstructors and to recertify the same. Said certifications shall be done pursuant to\nregulations issued by the council for the purpose of assuring high quality police\ninstructors in the Commonwealth. Said regulations may include but are not limited\nto:\n(a) The level of formal or other training possessed by the instructor;\n(b) The work-related background of the instructor;\n(c) The personal background of the instructor with regard to absence of past\ncriminal record; and\n(d) Other such matters as the council may deem to be necessary to insure high\nquality police instruction for the Commonwealth.\n(2) The council shall make no charges for certification as a police instructor.","path":["KRS Chapter 15"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=931","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:33Z","sha256":"405168e7153ed128822516dbb6b0d14bfbe63cbdc6124e0cca756be9595b6742","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-15.350","next":"us-ky/krs-15.370"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
