{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-15.810","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 15.810","heading":"Title IV -A services available to individuals not receiving public assistance","body":"benefits -- Continuation of IV -D services -- Fee for services -- Exemption --\nAnnual fee.\n(1) All services available to individuals receiving public assista nce under Title IV-A of\nthe Federal Social Security Act benefits shall also be available to individuals not\nreceiving public assistance benefits, upon application by the individual with the\ncabinet.\n(2) The Office of the Attorney General shall continue to provide IV-D services when a\nfamily ceases to receive public assistance without requiring a formal application\nand without payment of the application fee specified in subsection (3) of this\nsection. IV-D services shall be discontinued upon the request of the recipient.\n(3) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, the office may charge an\napplication fee for the services based on a fee schedule, which shall take into\naccount the applicant's net income. No application fee shall be required from\nindividuals receiving public assistance.\n(4) The Office of the Attorney General shall impose an annual fee of thirty -five dollars\n($35) pursuant to 42 U.S.C. sec. 654, which shall be satisfied by withholding the\nfee from a child support disbursement.","path":["KRS Chapter 15"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54314","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:34Z","sha256":"5c35c2759c9d550e6617ce770e9d3374c16a2766707b12f05dd49e9fa78ee65d","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-15.808","next":"us-ky/krs-15.812"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
