{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-150.165","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 150.165","heading":"Nongame fish and wildlife fund.","body":"(1) There is established a special fund to be known as the \"Nongame Fish and Wildlife\nFund\" which shall be under the control of the Department of Fish and Wildlife\nResources Commission for the purpose of protecting and preserving nongame fish\nand wildlife and their habitat.\n(2) The nongame fish and wildlife fund shall consist of all moneys transferred to it\nunder KRS 141.465, appropriations, donations, federal funds, other revenues\ndesignated for the fund from any source whatever, and all interest earned thereon.\n(3) Moneys contained in the nongame fish and wildlife fund shall be deemed a trust and\nagency account and shall not lapse and moneys contained in the fund shall be\ncontinuously appropriated for the purposes specified in this section.\n(4) The Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission shall have access to\nand control of the moneys held in the nongame fish and wildlife fund, but shall\nexpend such moneys only to protect and preserve nongame fish and wildlife and\ntheir habitat.","path":["KRS Chapter 150"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=1964","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:43Z","sha256":"ac07982d2f7cf56c150266bb0bde2a24bcbf99535591ca17a6c42424b8bd283c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-150.160","next":"us-ky/krs-150.170"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
