{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-150.363","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 150.363","heading":"Computer-assisted remote hunting unlawful -- Citizens with disabilities.","body":"(1) For purposes of this section, \"computer-assisted remote hunting\" means the use of a\ncomputer or any other device, equipment, or software to remotely control the\naiming and discharge of a rifle, shotgun, handgun, bow and arrow, crossbow, or any\nother implement to hunt or harvest wildlife in the Commonwealth.\n(2) It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt or harvest wildlife in the Commonwealth\nby means of computer-assisted remote hunting.\n(3) It shall be unlawful for any person to provide or operate a f acility that allows others\nto engage in computer-assisted remote hunting of wildlife in the Commonwealth.\n(4) The provisions of this section shall not be construed to limit or prohibit the hunting\nrights or privileges provided to citizens with disabilities  pursuant to KRS 150.025,\nthe Americans with Disabilities Act, and Kentucky administrative regulations.\nAdditionally, this section shall not be construed to prohibit a person who is\nphysically impaired, to the degree that he or she cannot operate a device allowed for\ntaking of game under Kentucky law, from taking game, subject to administrative\nregulations, with a device which is in the immediate vicinity of the permittee and\nwhich the permittee operates using remote -control technology other than the\nInternet.","path":["KRS Chapter 150"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=2007","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:44Z","sha256":"02fc6f7b0ad70b73a13470a86610969a9f65e8c8a4cea1415cb1d048bf62baca","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-150.362","next":"us-ky/krs-150.365"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
