{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-150.660","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 150.660","heading":"Establishment of pay lakes, authority of commissioner concerning --","body":"Stocking requirement -- Permits -- Revocation of license.\n(1) Any person may establish a pay lake subject to the approval of the commissioner of\nthe Department of Fish and Wildlife Re sources, who shall have the authority to\napprove or reject the establishment of pay lakes and issue to the owners or lessees\nof lakes a license for their operation. All pay lakes shall be stocked at least twice per\ncalendar year with not less than five hun dred (500) pounds of adult fish per surface\nacre of water.\n(2) When a pay lake is licensed by the department, the commissioner shall issue to the\nlicensee, consecutively numbered permits to be issued, without cost, to pay lake\npatrons. The permits shall on ly be valid for fishing any licensed pay lake within the\nstate and shall be valid for one (1) year beginning January 1.\n(3) No person, except those exempted elsewhere in this chapter, shall fish in a licensed\npay lake without possessing a valid special pay  lake permit or a valid statewide\nfishing license.
