{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-151.260","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 151.260","heading":"Applications for permit -- Time for approval or rejection -- Emergency","body":"action plan administrative regulation.\n(1) All applications for permits required by KRS 151.250 shall be in the form and\nmanner prescribed by the cabinet.\n(2) Unless waived by the cabinet, all plans and specifications submitted for approval\nshall be drawn by an engineer, licensed to practice as a professional engineer under\nthe provisions of KRS Chapter 322.\n(3) Upon receipt of all plans and specifications, the cabinet shal l notify the applicant in\nwriting within twenty (20) working days for a floodplain permit application, and\nwithin forty -five (45) working days for a dam permit application, either that the\npermit will be issued or denied, or that certain modifications in t he plans or\nspecifications must be made before a permit will be issued.\n(4) The secretary may establish, by administrative regulation promulgated pursuant to\nKRS Chapter 13A, a requirement for the owner of any dam classified by the cabinet\nas high hazard, moderate hazard, or significant hazard to develop, exercise, and\nmaintain an emergency action plan certified by the owner of the dam.","path":["KRS Chapter 151"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54098","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:45Z","sha256":"dd88b9bea9b66e9b2139c169ef5b9188fa0df8d67a30a6423c53bb3bb14bb812","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-151.250","next":"us-ky/krs-151.270"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
