{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-151b.131","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 151B.131","heading":"Definitions for KRS 151B.131 to 151B.134.","body":"As used in KRS 151B.131 to 151B.134, unless the context requires otherwise:\n(1) \"Board\" means the Board of the Kentucky Center for Statistics established in KRS\n151B.134(1);\n(2) \"De-identification\" means a process for removing identity information so the d ata\ncan be analyzed without disclosing the identity of the individuals or employers\nwhose data are being utilized;\n(3) \"Education data\" means the following data relating to student performance from\nearly childhood learning programs through postsecondary education:\n(a) College and career readiness;\n(b) Course and grade;\n(c) Degree, diploma, or credential attainment;\n(d) Demographic;\n(e) Educator;\n(f) Enrollment;\n(g) Financial aid;\n(h) High School Equivalency Diploma;\n(i) Remediation;\n(j) Retention;\n(k) State and national assessments;\n(l) Transcripts;\n(m) Vocational and technical education information; and\n(n) Any other data impacting education deemed necessary by the office;\n(4) \"Kentucky Longitudinal Data System\" is a statewide data system that contains\neducation, workforce, and additional data identified by the Board of the Kentucky\nCenter for Statistics;\n(5) \"Office\" means the Office of the Kentucky Center for Statistics established in KRS\n151B.132(1); and\n(6) \"Workforce data\" means data relating to:\n(a) Certification and licensure;\n(b) Employer information;\n(c) Employment status;\n(d) Geographic location of employment;\n(e) Job service and training information to support enhanced employment\nopportunities;\n(f) Wage information; and\n(g) Any other data impacting the workforce deemed necessary by the office.","path":["KRS Chapter 151B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=49231","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:46Z","sha256":"25a5a0b93145b5044e84463e0b64d8d6de24a3a57e47c3b3dc196557f0e6956d","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-151b.130","next":"us-ky/krs-151b.132"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
