{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-151b.420","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 151B.420","heading":"Job placement assistance program.","body":"(1) The Education and Labor Cabinet is hereby directed to establish, within one\nhundred eighty (180) days of July 14, 2022, a job placement assistance program to\nassist individuals enrolled in the state's medical assistance program established in\nKRS Chapter 205 in finding employment.\n(2) The job placement assistance program shall:\n(a) Be available to any able-bodied adult enrolled in the state's medical assistance\nprogram;\n(b) Provide one-on-one job placement coaching and support; and\n(c) Prioritize job placem ent with an employer who offers comprehensive health\ninsurance coverage for medical and surgical services as an employee benefit.\n(3) The Education and Labor Cabinet shall contact each individual who, pursuant to\nsubsection (2)(a) of this section, is eligi ble to participate in the job placement\nassistance program and provide him or her with information on the program and\nservices provided.\n(4) As used in this section \"able-bodied adult\" means an individual who is:\n(a) Over eighteen (18) years of age but under sixty (60) years of age; and\n(b) Physically and mentally able to work as determined by the cabinet.","path":["KRS Chapter 151B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53089","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:47Z","sha256":"347927c36e53b3b72ef7326eb3b3e275700f279c3208a96c1757527a5a638eb2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-151b.412","next":"us-ky/krs-151b.450"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
